FURUNO U.S.A., INC., a subsidiary of FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. is pleased to announce establishment of a new subsidiary in PANAMA, which commenced its business operation on the 17th of April 2017.
FURUNO PANAMA has been established to enrich product sales and service, especially for merchant vessels, in anticipation of increasing vessel traffic transiting the Panama Canal, which was expanded in 2016. FURUNO PANAMA's business will be primarily focused on the merchant marine industry, as well as the fishing industry, taking advantage of FURUNO U.S.A.'s long-time knowledge and experience. FURUNO U.S.A., parent company of FURUNO PANAMA, is engaged in sales and service of our marine products as well as communications and GNSS solutions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, and South America. FURUNO U.S.A. will support the launch of FURUNO PANAMA by placing a strong emphasis on building close relationships with our customers and expanding business with a focus on enhanced customer service.
