FURUNO to exhibit its Weather Radars at the National Weather Association (NWA) 43rd Annual meeting 2018

FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (headquartered in Nishinomiya, Japan, President : Mr. Yukio Furuno) will be exhibiting at the 43rd National Weather Association annual meeting from August 25th to 30th in St-Louis, Missouri. USA.

The NWA (National Weather Association) is an American professional association focusing on operational meteorology such as weather observation, forecasting and how their applications apply to human safety. The NWA is, along with the AMS (American Meteorological Society), one of the two main meteorological organizations in the US.

FURUNO, as a major contributor in meteorological observation systems, will be presenting its WR-2100 Compact X-band Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar and is willing to demonstrate its products and technologies related to the weather field.

About the Compact X-Band Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar WR-2100

The WR-2100 is a Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar with an ultra-high spatiotemporal resolution capability in order to grasp the intensity of omni-directional precipitation with high precision. This lightweight weather radar offers high resolution meteorological observation. Its compact size eliminates heavy machinery requirements, allowing simple installation by manpower alone anywhere, where regular household power is available.
