FURUNO to exhibit its Weather Radars at the National Weather Association (NWA) 44th Annual meeting 2019

FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (headquartered in Nishinomiya, Japan, President : Mr. Yukio Furuno) will be exhibiting at the 44th National Weather Association annual meeting 2019 from September 8th to 12th in Von Braun Center Huntsville, Alabama. USA.

The NWA (National Weather Association) is an American professional association focusing on operational meteorology such as weather observation, forecasting and how their applications apply to human safety. The NWA is, along with the AMS (American Meteorological Society), one of the two main meteorological organizations in the US.

FURUNO, willing to contribute even more to the development of new technologies in this field, will exhibit its Compact X-band Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar "WR2120", X-band Doppler Weather Radar "WR110" and New weather information service "Rainnaut". FURUNO Weather Radars have already been the choice of many all over the world. The Radar can be used in various kinds of environment and covers many fields of application such as water management, traffic support or disaster assistance. At this exhibition, FURUNO will provide several examples of installation for the equipment above. Rainnaut is a cloud-based web application fully compatible with FURUNO Weather Radar to check local weather information anytime, anywhere from your computer, smartphone or tablet.
