The Social Media Accounts operated by FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "FURUNO") are established as a platform to communicate between FURUNO and customers, and between customers. In order to assure a better environment for customers, the following terms of use are established regarding this platform.

4. Content post timing: weekdays between 9:00 to 17:00 Tokyo local time (except on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, New Year holidays, and other non-working days established by FURUNO). However, there may be posts occurring at other times.
5. Operation period: this Service may be deleted, or its operation may be stopped without notice.

Cautions Regarding the Use of this Service

1. FURUNO makes no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or usefulness with respect to the information on this Service.
2. FURUNO shall not be liable for individual sentences, photographs, illustrations, videos, music, audio, software and other contents (hereinafter referred to as "Contents") posted by FURUNO or the User.
3. FURUNO shall not be liable for damages due to the usage or the incapability to use this Service by the User.
4. FURUNO shall not be liable for damages suffered by the User or a third party, and caused by troubles related to the usage of this Service between Users, or between the User and a third party.
5. FURUNO shall not be liable, among things other than listed in the previous "Cautions regarding the use of this Service" 1. through 4., for damages suffered by the User or a third party, and related to matters in correlation with this Service.
6. The copyright of the content posted belongs to the User who makes the post. However, the User agrees to grant rights to use (copy, change, translate, extract, publish, etc.) all or a part of any content regarding FURUNO, non-exclusively and worldwide, without prior consent of the User or payment to the User, and to not exercise moral rights against FURUNO.
7. FURUNO's proper processing of personal information is based on the "Privacy Policy" of FURUNO, when acquiring personal information from the User.
8. FURUNO cannot respond at all to any inquiries regarding the system operation status of each social media. Furthermore, FURUNO cannot respond at all to any questions regarding the technology, the usage or the function of a software or any application provided by each social media or a third party.

Trademarks

The rights with respect to individual trademarks, logos and trade names posted on this Service belong to FURUNO or other individual right holders. Unless permitted by the Trademark Law or other laws, any usage of the above without FURUNO's authorization is prohibited. Please contact FURUNO in advance for our usage approval.

Copyright

1. The copyright regarding the contents posted on this Service belongs to FURUNO or the original author and other right holders.
2. Copyright Law prohibits the reproduction, public transmission, modification, or excision of the Contents without the authorization of FURUNO, the original author, or any other right holders, except for printing, storing, etc. for the purpose of personal use or as otherwise permitted by the Copyright Law. Suggestions of Ideas

1. For customers' inquiry regarding FURUNO, the proposals, documents or ideas regarding the customers or third parties secret trades, new products planning, new products, and other business (hereinafter referred to as "Suggestions of Ideas"), are not accepted on this Service, unless specified otherwise.
2. The "unless specified otherwise" of the previous paragraph, when the customer sends Suggestions of Ideas to FURUNO via the website, by e-mail or by post mail, FURUNO decides that the customer acknowledges the following terms regarding the Suggestions of Ideas sent by the customer.    2. FURUNO shall not be obliged to review, evaluate, adopt, etc., the Suggestions of Ideas that are sent;
   3. FURUNO shall not be responsible for any payment or any other liability to the customer or any third party arising out of or related to the Suggestions of Ideas, even if FURUNO announces or publishes goods or services that are identical or similar to all or any part of the Suggestions of Ideas that are sent; and
   4. FURUNO can freely use the Suggestions of Ideas that are sent. In addition, the User shall not exercise copyrights or any other rights with respect to such ideas against FURUNO.

Prohibited Behaviors

1. In order to assure a smooth communication on this Service, when using this Service, refrain from the following behaviors. If the behavior of the User corresponds to one of the followings, the post may be deleted, the posting account may be blocked, or the post may be modified.
   1. Behaviors that, without the consent of the person, identify, disclose, leak individual information of other Users or third parties;
   2. Behaviors that cause damages to FURUNO, other Users or other third parties;
   3. Behaviors that falsify information provided through this Service;
   4. Behaviors that aim for profit through or in relation with this Service, without the approval of FURUNO;
   5. Behaviors that violate the copyright of FURUNO, other Users or other third parties, or other intellectual property rights;
   6. Behaviors that are detrimental to the reputation or dignity of FURUNO, other Users or other third parties;
   7. Behaviors that violate laws and the public order and morals, or behaviors that provide information that is against the public order and morals;
   8. Behaviors that are electoral activities, religious activities or other similar;
   9. Behavior that disturb the operation of this Service;
   10. Behaviors that fall under fraudulent behaviors defined by each social media;
   11. Behaviors that make post with no relation with the purpose of this Service;
   12. Behaviors that impersonate a third party, including FURUNO; and
   13. Other behaviors that FURUNO judges inappropriate.
2. When the behavior of the User causes damages to FURUNO or this Service, FURUNO may claim compensation to the User for these damages.
3. By using this Service, the User takes responsibility and assumes the charge to settle at his/her own cost any damages caused to other Users or third parties, and FURUNO shall not be liable for it.

Delete Criteria

1. FURUNO may delete any post or comment submitted by the User, if the content falls into any of the followings.
   1. Contents that intend for criminal activities, contents that promote criminal activities;
   2. Contents that violate the copyrights, the trademarks, the portrait rights of FURUNO or other third party, or other intellectual property rights;
   3. Contents that are in relation with the privacy of a third party;
   4. Contents that violate laws and the public order and morals;
   5. Contents that are detrimental to specific individuals, companies or regions;
   6. Commercial contents that present or advertise the User's own product, store or company;
   7. Contents that include dogmatic or assertive expressions such as "you should not buy it", "you must stop", "this is the worst", "this is disgusting";
   8. Inappropriate contents including obscene expressions;
   9. Contents that violate the terms of use established by each social media;
   10. Contents that are detrimental to the reputation or dignity of FURUNO;
   11. Contents that lead to false content spoofing or misleading;
   12. Contents that are considered as spam;
   13. Contents that disturb a constructive debate; and
   14. Any other behaviors or contents that are judged inappropriate, in regard to the operation, by FURUNO, of the fan page.

Linking

1. The content of the website of any third party that links from or to this Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Link Site") shall be managed under the responsibility of the respective corporation or individual and shall not be under the management of FURUNO. Use of the Link Site should be in accordance with the terms of use, copyrights, etc., of the respective site. FURUNO shall not be liable for the content of the Link Site or any damage caused by the use thereof.
2. As a general rule, links to this Service are free for non-commercial purposes.
3. However, whether for commercial or non-commercial use, the following links shall be rejected. Even if FURUNO had once approved a link to this Service, it will be rejected if FURUNO regards the Link Site as inappropriate.
   1. Links from Link Sites that defame FURUNO or its affiliates, their officers, or employees;
   2. Links from Link Sites that are detrimental to the reputation or dignity of FURUNO, such as violations of public order and morals;
