About Logo / Mark

logo

The name "FURUNO" is not only a clear depiction of our company name, but it has been familiar to people inside and outside the company for a long time. In addition, the FURUNO Logo displayed on a Radar antenna has made an impression of our company on a large number of people.

A fairly deep blue was selected as the corporate color. It represents the color of the Earth and expresses an image of the business field across the entire world.

mark

Our corporate mark was designed to represent the following three motifs:

  1. The first letter of the company name "F(f)".
  2. The directional pattern of the ultrasonic transducer of our original fish finder.
  3. Two fish with their tailfins intertwined.

What is more, the intertwined tailfins are designed to form a "Z", which is the common international symbol for electricity.
