This exhibition is an international maritime event held in Shanghai, the heart of China's maritime industry, where shipping, shipbuilding, marine equipment manufacturers, and various organizations from around the world participate. This marks the 21st edition and is being held for the first time since 2019 due to postponements caused by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Furuno will be showcasing a variety of functionalities and solutions focused on "Digital Transformation of Ships." This includes the "3D Bird View System" using VR (Virtual Reality) technology for a three-dimensional display of the surrounding ship environment to support the planning of medium to long-distance navigation while overseeing the ship's situation, the "Berthing Aid System" that accurately measures the relationship between the ship's hull and the quay to assist safe berthing and departure, as well as Navigation Radar for China's domestic shipping, the "Model: FR-CAR Series," among other functions and solutions aimed at achieving autonomous navigation.
