From the 4th to the 8th of June this year, Posidonia exhibition will be held at Metropolitan Expo Centre in the Athens International Airport complex (Greece). Posidonia is one of the world's most prestigious international shipping exhibitions where the leaders in the world's maritime community will meet with each other.
FURUNO is going to exhibit its latest products and services at this significant event, and the new ECDIS is to be featured at the focal point of the company's presentation seeing the market situation where the mandatory ECDIS carriage is phasing in from this July onward.

On top of the above-mentioned product line-up, FURUNO is going to present its training services for seafarers with focus on FURUNO's ECDIS training solutions. On top of the class room training offered by FURUNO INSTC as well as the NavSkills network of training centres around the globe, FURUNO shall implement distance learning scheme for type specific ECDIS training through the new NavSkills CAT (Computer Aided Training). NavSkills CAT is the distance learning solution that could supplement potential shortcomings from conventional distance learning schemes such as CBT and WBT.
