Furuno has found that the power on/off history logs are not being updated for the Automatic International Ship Identification System (Model: FA-150) manufactured and sold by us. We apologize for this situation and would like to assure that the defect will be corrected. If you have the FA-150 installed onboard, please contact our nearest dealer/distributor.
Which units are affected?
International Ship Automatic Identification System (Model: FA-150) equipment with program version 2450018-04.07*1.
The program version can be checked on the MEMORY TEST screen on the FA-150 unit (red line in Figure 1).
【How to check program version】
- Press MENU key.
- Press ▼ or ▲ and select DIAGNOSTICS, then press ENT key.
- Press ▼ or ▲ and select TRANSPONDER TEST, then press ENT key.
- Press ▼ or ▲ and select MEMORY TEST, then press ENT key.
*1 The program version released to address GPS rollover (occurred on January 2, 2022).

What is the defect?
Power on/off history*2 is not updated in the history log.
【How to display power on/off history】
- Press MENU key.
- Press ▼ or ▲ and select DIAGNOSTICS, then press ENT key.
- Press ▼ or ▲ and select PWR ON/OFF HISTORY, then press ENT key.
*2 The power on/off history log is displayed when there was at least 15 minutes between power off and power on. (The log shows the date and time of the latest 30 power-on and power-off.)
Corrective measures
If you are using the relevant program version of FA-150, the unit is required to have a software update. The update work is expected to take 30 minutes to 1 hour. We may reach out to your point of contact regarding the visit.
